Hi, I’m Hannah!

At sixteen, I sent flyers out to local Brisbane schools as a piano teacher for the very first time. One year later, I opened Piano With Love studio, and have since taught over 60 students through the studio. I am driven to unlock the unique potential of each of my students, and know for a fact that with the right support and guidance, everyone can learn to play the piano with joy and ease.

Having been personally taught by world-class pianists Joshua Creek, Hila Yusupov, Natasha Vlassenko OAM, Therese Milanovic, Bernard Lanskey, and Sophie Min, I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Music specialising in classical and musical theatre piano at the Queensland Conservatorium. Through my study at the Con, I’ve performed in mainstage musicals (Legally Blonde: The Musical, Carrie: The Musical, A Chorus Line), classical piano recitals, jazz showcases, and various showcases and plays in the acting department; and am currently one of two Musical Director interns at the Queensland Academy of Excellence in Musical Theatre.

As a freelance pianist, my performances have been aired on ABC Classic FM and 4MBS Classic FM (Impressions, Affections (2024); AQUILA (2025)), with my playing described by Modern Classical Music Magazine as “ethereal” with “intense vibrant passion”. Furthermore, as a former band member for pop singer-songwriter Lara Estel, I’ve recorded and performed at the Triffid, Hunting Ground Studios, and Airlock Studios.

In 2026, I will be undertaking a New Colombo Plan Scholarship which will enable me to live, study, and intern in China for a little over a year. Through this scholarship, I will explore the music of China, and collaborate and learn from Chinese musicians and creatives.
